Welcome to King William IV Braintree

 

King William IV reopened on the 18th of December 2009 having been shut for two years, we aim to provide a variety of quality beverages in a casual and traditional environment to appeal to a wide range of customers.

King William IV is a traditional drinking pub serving an ever changing range of Cask Real Ales and Ciders. We stock a good range of quality wines and spirits with six lagers including Peroni on draft.

We do not offer cooked meals, leaving plenty of room in our compact pub for you to enjoy your drink, however we have a large range of nuts, crisps and a "Pie of the Week" which you can enjoy cold with your pint.

The extensive Gardens are host to many events throughout the year such as Beer Festivals and Musical entertainment. (See events page for details).

We are dog friendly and well behaved children are welcome only with a responsible adult.

The gardens are home to many free ranging chickens, guinea fowl and the corner garden is home to the guinea pig colony so dogs must be kept on a lead and children supervised at all times.
